Its been a very difficult period in the voluntary sector as they have navigated the covid pandemic and for many organisations, that navigation has been with little professional support to assist with the many HR matters that cropped up. Furlough and working from home are just two situations which spring immediately to mind.
But it’s time to move forward and for organisations to get back on their feet. This has brought new challenges and changes which mean there may be a need to operate differently or adapt policies and procedures post pandemic. Employment law changes crept in with little attention in 2020 and these brought about some fundamental changes that organisations need to be aware of…and compliant with!
VSI Alliance & Voluntary Action Calderdale have secured funding to be able to provide HR support, advice and training to organisations across Calderdale. Whether your contracts of employment, volunteer agreements or HR policies need reviewing (or possibly even writing!), you are wondering how to bring staff back into the office who are working from home or need some training on being a line manager, we are here to help you with any HR needs.
