Grant Funded People Management Training For Voluntary Sector Organisations

Our 2‑day HR Essentials workshop provides managers with essential, practical HR knowledge, skills and understanding required to pro-actively and consistently manage people issues including those relating to an employee’s conduct, capability and grievance. The key learning outcomes for this workshop are:

  • Understand the impact of absence on the organisation and how to pro-actively manage this;
  • Case manage a disciplinary from the initial fact find to the disciplinary outcome;
  • Understand the rules, regulations and crucial disciplinary Do’s & Don’ts;
  • How to prepare for conversations relating to Conduct or Capability;
  • Confidently undertake performance related discussions and record keeping;
  • Understand how a HR policy and procedure can assist in supporting managers to deal with people issues fairly and consistently.

This workshop will support the initial HR advice and support provided through the programme and ensure all the aims of the programme and the advice provided is successfully embedded to support the future, long term success of the organisation.

Please note this workshop is aimed at organisations who employ people rather than those who operate through volunteers only.
