Course Description

Designed for employers and employees of takeaway food establishments, our online course outlines best practices to ensure you and your employees can return to work safely following COVID-19.

Following the COVID-19 lockdown, many catering and hospitality establishments are making a move to takeaway services, whilst they are unable to provide sit-down services, and they are starting to return to the workplace. But what does that actually mean for employers and employees? What measures need to be put in place to make sure everyone feels safe?

Aimed at both employers and employees, our online course helps answer these questions. Using the government guidance and providing best practice advice, it helps you find a way of returning to work safely.

The topics you will cover are:

  • An overview of the current COVID-19 guidance.
  • What social distancing means.
  • What the terminology used by the government means.
  • The impact of returning to work and how to plan and risk assess the work environment.
  • The key things to consider when travel is needed for work.
  • Things to consider when staff return to the workplace, including policies, procedures and training that should be considered.

Please note – while this course includes guidance from across the UK, the content is primarily based upon regulations and guidance in England.
