Course Description

This course looks at how to promote and encourage customers to take up additional products and services.

This course looks at how to promote and encourage customers to take up additional products and services.

The course reinforces the importance of first impressions to a customer and how frontline staff can ensure they are knowledgeable, professional, presentable and friendly towards customers.

The course uses three categories to describe additional products and services: products and services, bar and restaurant services, hotel services.

The course discusses the benefits of staff having good product knowledge to improve the customer experience, including the concepts of cross-selling and upselling.

Learning Objectives
On completion of this course, learners will be able to:

  • Understand the importance of accurate service or product knowledge
  • Understand procedures and systems for encouraging customers to use additional services or products
  • Know the importance of promoting additional services or products that are available

The content of this course has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a certificate which you will be able to download and print immediately on completion.

This course will take approximately 30 minutes to complete, depending on learning speed.
