This course looks at creating efficiency in the hospitality sector and how this leads to an improved experience for clients, greater profitability, a service that runs smoother and reduced waste. It also supports greater environmental sustainability and energy savings.

This course looks at creating efficiency in the hospitality sector and how this leads to an improved experience for clients, greater profitability, a service that runs smoother and reduced waste. It also supports greater environmental sustainability and energy savings.

The course uses three categories to review the issues in more detail: food and supply; energy and water; guests and housekeeping.

Some of the areas reviewed under these categories are: food wastage, resource efficiency, energy and water, guest rooms and housekeeping.

Learning Objectives
On completion of this course, learners will understand:

  • How to work in an efficient way that ensures wastage is limited
  • How to work in a way that ensures that physical resources, including energy and water, are not wasted
  • How to use resources effectively.

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a certificate which you will be able to download and print immediately on completion.

This course will take approximately 30 minutes to complete, depending on learning speed.
