Finance Assistant


Our ever expanding Client are now  looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to work in their Finance team on a fixed term contract.   

The role is based at their High Wycombe office 

The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual.  They will be an integral part of the client’s Finance team.  The role is known as a varied and challenging position. 

The Role: 

  • Post Distribution and Collection 

  • General filing 

  • Bank run 

  • Answering telephone to suppliers 

  • Client Credits Received 

  • Client Payments out 

  • Client and office banking 

  • Client Cheques 

  • Office Cheques 

  • Inputting bills 

  • Inputting Land Registry 

  • Inputting ledger invoices 

  • Liaising with principal lawyers, fee earners and assistants on a regular basis 

  • Undertake other ad hoc duties as directed 

Key Skills: 

  • Confident telephone manner 

  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 

  • Have excellent organisational skills 

  • Be highly organised with the ability to work to deadlines 

  • Attention to detail 

  • Be “hands on” and a team player 

  • Competent use of Microsoft packages especially excel 

  • Willingness to carry out routine tasks 

  • Qualifications – Minimum GCSE Grade A-C (English and Mathematics)
